By accessing or using WireNerd, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. Your account

If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account, and you agree to provide accurate information. You must be old enough to form a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.

3. Acceptable use

When posting in the forum or anywhere on the site, don't post unlawful, harassing, hateful, infringing, or spam content, don't impersonate others, and don't attempt to disrupt, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the site. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. Content & intellectual property

The lessons, guides, diagrams, sandbox, practice questions, and other materials on WireNerd are original works owned by WireNerd / Bryan Barrios and are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own learning, but you may not copy, resell, or redistribute them without permission. Content you post (such as forum messages) remains yours, but you grant WireNerd a license to display and host it as part of running the site.

5. Purchases

Paid products are digital and delivered through your account. Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

6. Educational purpose & no warranty

WireNerd is an independent educational resource, not an accredited institution, and the content is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Please read the full Disclaimer, including the electrical-safety notice — it is part of these terms.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WireNerd and Bryan Barrios are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss or injury arising from your use of the site, its content, or the sandbox. You use the site at your own risk.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
